Hung serves as Plant Manager of AES Mong Duong 2, where he works closely with the plant team to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. His role covers plant performance, environmental and safety standards, business and financial objectives, stakeholder engagement, and people development, with a focus on delivering sustainable value for the business and its stakeholders.

Since joining AES Mong Duong in 2013, Hung has held various technical and leadership roles, including Maintenance Planner, Mechanical Team Leader, and Maintenance Manager. Throughout these roles, he has gained broad experience in plant maintenance, outage management, reliability improvement, cost optimization, contract management, and team development.

Prior to joining AES, Hung worked at the Nghi Son 1 Coal-Fired Power Plant Project, contributing to design review, EPC contract negotiations, construction supervision, commissioning, and project planning.

Hung holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Thermal Power Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He has also completed professional development programs in finance, asset management, leadership, coaching and mentoring, and employee engagement.
