Nikolay joined AES in 2015 and has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement and strategic sourcing across the energy and manufacturing sectors. In his current role at AES Mong Duong Power Company Limited, he leads the Supply Chain Management and Facility Management functions.

Prior to joining AES Vietnam, Nikolay held procurement leadership roles within AES in Europe, including Head of Sourcing and Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Manager for AES Europe. His experience spans strategic sourcing, category management, procurement operations, supplier and contract management, and supply chain transformation.

Before AES, Nikolay served as Head of Supply Chain at ABB Bulgaria and previously held procurement and supply chain roles in the cement industry.

Nikolay is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and holds a Supply Chain Technology Certificate from ASCM, as well as an Export/Import Certificate from the International Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Master’s degree in Money and Capital Markets from New Bulgarian University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics.
